Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) are centered on a single God who reveals moral law through scripture and prophets. They hold that individuals live one life, after which they face divine judgement.
Karmic religions (Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism) hold that actions generate consequences carried across lifetimes through rebirth, and treat liberation from the cycle, rather than judgement by a deity, as the ultimate goal.
